About the Role

As a Senior Accountant, you will work closely with clients across taxation, compliance and advisory matters while supporting the delivery of high-quality outcomes.

You will also play a role in mentoring junior team members and strengthening client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of financial statements and income tax returns
• Tax planning, compliance and technical problem-solving
• Business advisory support and client relationship management
• Working directly with SME and privately owned businesses
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members
• Working across more complex private group structures and advisory matters

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Australian Public Practice Accounting experience (essential)
• CA or CPA qualified, or nearing completion
• Strong taxation and financial reporting capability
•  Demonstrated Div 7A experience (essential), including loans, UPEs and MYRs
• Exposure to private groups and SME structures
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
• A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach

Experience supporting medical and allied health clients will be highly regarded.
