Our client, a highly regarded and progressive public practice accounting firm based in Brendale, is seeking a Senior Auditor to join their growing team.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with 3–5 years’ external audit experience who is ready to take the next step in their career within a supportive environment that genuinely invests in its people.

Working alongside experienced leaders, you will gain exposure to a diverse client portfolio, continue developing your technical capability and play an important role in delivering high-quality audit and assurance services.

About the Role

As a Senior Auditor, you will be involved in the end-to-end delivery of audit engagements, working closely with clients while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

You will have the opportunity to strengthen both your technical and advisory skills while mentoring junior team members and building trusted client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and complete external audit engagements from planning through to finalisation
• Prepare and review audit working papers, reports and financial documentation
• Develop strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
• Identify risks, controls and opportunities for improvement
• Support and mentor junior team members where required
• Work collaboratively with Managers and Directors to deliver quality outcomes

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

 3–5 years’ experience in external audit/public practice
Currently midway through, nearing completion or recently completed CA or CPA
Strong technical accounting and audit capability
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
High attention to detail with strong analytical thinking
A proactive approach and genuine desire to continue growing professionally
